How many people will be involved in my tour?
Depending on your platform of choice and our available tour hosts, we aim for 5-10 hosts per tour!
Do I Need to Provide Arcs to all Tour Hosts?
Yes, you must provide ARCs to hosts for any tour service other than the cover reveal! You can decide whether to provide physical or electronic copies, and we will provide you with physical or e-mail addresses in order to send the ARCs. Allowing the hosts to read your book will better allow them to make personalized creative content for your tour!
CAN I HIRE YOU FOR SERVICES FOR MULTIPLE BOOKS AT ONCE?
Absolutely! Though we do recommend selecting tour dates for each book during different weeks for the best results per tour.
How many people will photograph my book? Do I get to keep the photos for my own use? How many will I receive?
Our Team Members assigned to your project will take photographs or create graphics depending on your choice in the tour creation process. This can vary by platform between one (1) to all four (4) of us, and you will be able to use the photos posted directly from the Valkyrie Visionaries accounts as long as you tag us and credit us!
Our tour hosts will often include photography of your book as well, but we cannot give you permission to use their individual content.
Can I pay for a positive review? What if you hate my book?
We pride ourselves on being fair and honest about all the books we read! We do ask our tour hosts to read your book in order to post creative content based on their experience, and this may be in the form of a review if they so choose. We believe our tour hosts should express their honest opinions as well, but we do ask them to post any reviews below three (3) stars after their stop on the tour.

How Can I Sign up to be a Tour Host/Book Blogger on One of Your Tours?
So good to have you! Visit our Tours section under our Services page and fill out the form at the bottom. You’ll automatically be added to our tours list and notified of upcoming tours.
As a Tour Host Can I be in Multiple Tours at Once?
Yes, but we will usually only offer this to tour hosts that have been successful doing tours with us in the past, so we can be sure of your dedication to posting your content on time!
Writing Assistance
Why do I need a paid beta reader when I can find free ones on Twitter/Wattpad?
Paid Beta Readers are a great idea when you don’t have the time to keep doing manuscript exchanges with other writers or if you’re simply looking for objective feedback from writers and readers. A paid beta reader will not disappear suddenly from your project, will have your manuscript read by the agreed-upon deadline, and provide in-depth feedback on your manuscript as a whole. In short, a paid beta reader is non-biased, honest, and passionate about your story.
Do you provide overall feedback separately after you’ve finished beta reading?
We do! You will receive comments throughout the reading process where we highlight lines we love, questions we have, and general thoughts as we’re reading. Once we’ve finished, we will send you an email summarizing our overall thoughts and suggestions to make your story shine.
Can I hire more than one person to beta read my book?
Yes! Though we do recommend staggering your bookings so that a second beta reader can read your manuscript after implementing our first round of suggestions. If you’re in a pinch, we are more than happy to simultaneously read the same manuscript.
Marketing
Can I customize the marketing bundles if I don’t want to build my own plan but don’t need all of the services?
Of course! Through our Build Your Own Bundle option, you can pick and choose as many offerings as your heart desires and budget allows.
Can I hire you to run my social media/write my newsletters indefinitely?
We can absolutely renew your contract depending on availability.
Do I get to keep the photos for my own use?
You may use the photos we’ve sent to you after a project, but (unless they are custom-made templates) please make sure to credit and tag us when using photos.
Miscellaneous
Do I get a discount if I’m a returning client or if I refer someone to you?
As of February 13th, 2022, we are currently offering a 10% discount for returning clients and a 10% discount for referrals. And yes, they stack 😉
I’ve picked a service! Where can I book in?
Hooray! This is a huge step for you and your book, so take a second to celebrate! Then, send us an email ([email protected]) and we will get you booked in.
Are consulting calls free?
Our consulting calls are a flat fee of 50.00 USD plus tax with 1-3 of our Team Members available to help plan out your service and/or bundle, where we can discuss you and your book’s needs and the best course of action that’ll see you both thrive. Can you provide evidence that your services are successful?
Yes! We have testimonials from our previous and returning clients you can view on our home page. Some of our clients have provided improved sales/engagement metrics, which we will include as we receive them.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the digital nature of our work, we do not offer refunds. However, we work hard to ensure every client is left feeling happy and satisfied with our services.
Do I need to pay upfront?
For marketing services and promotional tours, we do require payment upfront, as this allows us the opportunity to start working on your project as soon as possible. For writing services, we require 50% of your selected package or paid prior to work beginning. The remaining 50% must be paid once your beta reader/proofreader has completed half of the book/story in order to continue.
Do I need to sign a contract?
For the safety of our team and you, we do require a signed contract prior to services beginning. But don’t worry! Our contracts are simple and designed to ensure you receive all contracted deliverables and payments are made on time.
How soon can I schedule a service?
As our packages are carefully curated to fit your specific needs, we need at least 4 weeks’ notice prior to when you need our promotional tour and/or writing services, and 2 weeks’ notice prior to marketing projects. Depending on availability, we can expedite time-sensitive projects for an additional 20% fee. Will I get to see your work before you post it?
Absolutely! All assets and copy that we create will be provided to you for prior approval. Nothing will be published prior to your approval!
